How Assembly polls will impact Presidential and Rajya Sabha election

The President is indirectly elected by an electoral college consisting of the elected members of both the Houses of Parliament and the Assemblies. The electoral colleges comprise 776 MPs of both the Houses and 4,120 MLAs of all the states and UTs.
